PIZZUTTI’S Party Room is a charming setting for rehearsal dinners, engagement parties, birthday’s or any other event you choose to celebrate!

Menu Choices, Time Frames and Deposit Requirements 

PIZZUTTI’S is committed to providing you and your guests with fine food and service. The following information will help you when planning your event.We are happy to design a menu based on your event, and budget, with more or less courses.

Parties up to 12 guests:

Parties of this size are always welcome, with or without reservations.

Your party will be seated as soon as possible.

Should you wish to reserve a specific time ‘date and time’ the following applies:

Parties of 13 to 20 guests:

Invitation driven events, of this size, are requested to pre-order.

If unable to pre-order an equal amount of entrées will be made available.

Party Length 2 1/2 Hours**     Deposit $300

Parties of 21 or more guests:

· A Selected Three Course PIZZUTTI’S Prix Fixe Menu

· A Menu Designed Specifically for Your Party

Party Length 3 Hours**     Deposit $400

*Friday and Saturday Dinner Reservations require a $25 Per Person Minimum.

Minimum may also apply on Holidays and for Special Occasions.

**Party time lengths allow plenty of time for your guests to enjoy their meal. Should you wish to reserve PIZZUTTI’S for longer periods of time Extended Party and Party Room Rates are available. Please discuss your plans when booking your party.

Guest Counts

Menu and service details for your party are due 10 days prior to your event. Final guest counts are due no later than three working days prior to the event or original numbers will be utilized for all set up and other charges associated with your party.

Food and Beverage Policies

PIZZUTTI’S will provide all of your dining needs. No outside food is permitted. Our desserts change frequently, but are always delicious. When planning your event you can select specific desserts or offer desserts presented by your server.

Should you have to have a “special dessert” that you wish to bring into the restaurant there will be a $4.00 per person plating fee. There are no exceptions to this policy so please plan on enjoying the desserts PIZZUTTI’S proudly offers.

PIZZUTTI’S is Pittsburgh’s favorite B.Y.O.B. where we focus on the quality of our food rather than the high markups on alcohol sales.

As a B.Y.O.B. restaurant this means you are welcome to bring your own bottle. We encourage you to bring your favorite wine to PIZZUTTI’S and enjoy it in a Charming European atmosphere in the Heart of Shadyside.

You may drop off your wine or alcohol in advance so we can chill it or have it ready to present. Please give anything you bring in to your server so they may present it appropriately and provide you with the necessary accompaniments.

As a guest of PIZZUTTI’S you may have been treated to a glass of wine on us as you dine. This is a courtesy extended to guests that did not know to bring their own bottle of wine. House wine is limited and reserved for guests who did not know PIZZUTTI’S was a B.Y.O.B. When planning a party you are required to bring your own alcohol and wine. Additionally, you may bring liquor. We have mixers available.

A bar area can be set up for your private party in our Party Room, or if engaging the entire restaurant, full service in our main bar area. Fees and setup charges follow.

The following are the charges associated with PIZZUTTI’S B.Y.O.B.

Wine $ 5.00 Corkage per bottle or as arranged by party

Liquor     $ 1.00  per Glassware Served—Mixers Available

Beer $ 1.00  per Glassware Served

Mini Bar $25.00 Set up in Party Room

Full Bar $75.00 Set up and Bartender

Parties Seating and Fees

Seating will be arranged to accommodate all confirmed guests. Depending on the size of your party other guests may be seated in the Party Room, but will be seated separately from your party. Entire dining room rates are available.

There is no room charge or set up fee for most private parties, but may apply at times*.

* Guarantees, Per Person Minimums, Party Room Fees and Set Up Fees are based on the Time of the Year, Day of the Week, Time of the Reservation, Holidays and Special Events. Please discuss exact fees when booking your event.

All rates are subject to change at any time and without notice.

Holding and Room Confirmation

To reserve PIZZUTTI’S for a private party a signed contract and deposit is required.

Time Frames

We will base our reservations, and schedule staff, based upon the length of time allotted for your party.  The length of your reservation allows plenty of time for your guests to enjoy their meal.

Should you wish to reserve PIZZUTTI’S for longer periods of time Extended Party and Party Room Rates are available. Please discuss your plans when booking your party.Extended Party fees may be applied to parties over extending their reservation time.

Pricing

Prices quoted for menu items are as accurate as possible. We reserve the right to change pricing due to unforeseen market fluctuations. PIZZUTTI’S does what we can but, cannot predict economic, environmental or supply and demand issues. We reserve the right to make menu changes, based on market fluctuations, and will make every effort to offer comparable items.

Payment Procedures

Final payment for all event is due at the end of each event.

Cash or certified checks are required for party payments.

No personal checks accepted.

PIZZUTTI’S does not accept credit cards.

Special arrangements can be made for corporations and pharmaceutical companies.

Service Charges and Sales Tax

Prices quoted do not reflect service charge or tax. All food and non-alcoholic beverages are subject to a 20% gratuity and a 7% sales tax.

Gratuity will be added to the check for your convenience.

Cancellation Policies

In the event it is necessary to cancel, refund of deposits is at the discretion of PIZZUTTI’S. Should we be able to book a comparable party, in place of yours, we will gladly refund your deposit.If applicable, refunded deposits are issued in PIZZUTTI’S Gift Certificates.

We will do everything possible to ensure we are ready for your guests. PIZZUTTI’S will limit our reservations, purchase food, staff accordingly and prepare, in every way, for the success of your party.

In turn, the following fees will be accessed for the following menus:

For Parties using the Full Restaurant Menu or the Chef’s Limited Menu there will be a $10 no show fee for lunch and a $20 no show fee for dinner charged for each guest that falls below the confirmed number.

For Parties using a Prix Fixe Menu the price of the menu will be charged for each guest that falls below the confirmed number.

An “Empty Plate Fee,” of $10 at lunch and $20 at dinner, will be assessed for any guest who chooses to join the party without ordering any food.

There are no exceptions to this policy so please plan on confirming guests that will actually be dining with us.
